He is THE WORST LIVING CRIMINAL. He abducts children and makes them use guns to kill their own parents. He takes girls and forces them to be sex slaves. He calls his abducted children the Lord’s Resistance Army, AKA the LRA. He has abducted over 30,000 children and forced them to be child soldiers in Central Africa. He remains at large because he is INVISIBLE to the world. FEW know his name, even FEWER know his crimes. WE ARE MAKING HIM FAMOUS! Because when he is, the world will unite against him and demand his arrest.

Joseph Kony is just as disgusting as Osama Bin Laden and the purest example of laissez-faire Capitalism. He is nothing like Che Guevara nor Thomas Sankara and he will never be. It’s fucking disgusting how we treat leaders like Alexander Lukashenko, Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez like “villains” yet say nothing about Joseph Kony.
This is the FIRST and I mean FIRST military intervention SINCE World War II by the US that ever has been justified. I’ve always hated the US Military, but the first time in a long time in my life, I’ve actually backed Obama’s decision to send the troops overseas.

Somebody That I Used To Know | Gotye
So out of the pictures I took today, this was actually one of my favorites. I managed to talk myself into going to take pictures, just like I told myself I should. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how cold it was. So, let’s hope today isn’t going to make me more sick than I already am. Whoops! :)
Okay, so maybe tomorrow I will be happy with my photo. I have decided I need to put more effort into taking pictures, because I have been dissatisfied with my photos recently. Well, in many ways I mean that. One being that I haven’t taken a damn photograph since my photo class ended last semester. Well, at least anything “artistic” or something that I would be proud of to say ‘Hey! I took that!” I realize that this semester is going to kick my butt if I don’t, so I need to step this shit in gear and take pictures. Real pictures, not this ‘well, it’s time to take pictures, let’s walk around the apartment until I find something interesting’ shit. Two, being well, I guess I kind of just summed that up in the prior sentence. I want to take pictures that I would want to really show people. That are amazing. This is something that I am going to school for and want to pursue a career in. That means I need to get to my shit together.
With that said, next time I post a damn picture that is around the apartment without the excuse “I had work all damn day,” I’d like someone to say ‘Hey Shawn, why don’t you go take some real pictures instead of being lazy?’ Sound good? I think so. I digress. I know there are still some hours left in the day, I have work at 5AM, I’d like to finish this episode of Doctor Who that I am on, and I’d like to try to get more sleep than the three hours I got last night. Good excuse? I think so. :)
